Pain over Fear

She was very scared of lizards. As a little girl she developed the fear when a lizard jumped over her when she was closing the curtains. She was running all around in the house till she got tired. 

One morning when she went to the bathroom to take a shower she saw a little baby lizard near the geyser. At first she was scared but noticed that the little thing was scared too. She didn't mind the little one there and continued with her chore for the day. The next day, as she entered the washroom she looked for the little one again and saw it there. It became a daily business for her. She named her "Amy". Every morning she would come and call her. She had made Amy her pet though Amy knew nothing about it.

She had developed a connection with her. One unfortunate day as she opened the door and entered the washroom she heard a sound. From the sound she knew something has happened. She removed her foot from the ground and there lay Amy motionless. She cried for hours till she got tired.

She made sure no lizard would ever enter her washroom, not cause of fear but pain.
